Using gel polish

While the procedure seems straightforward, it is not. In order for the gel polish to be applied professionally and correctly, it is worth visiting a certified manicure specialist who knows his job, knows how to prepare a nail plate for gel polish, knows the specifics of working with gel polish, uses only highly effective, high-quality and professional gel polishes and know how to carry out this procedure quickly and most importantly, in compliance with all hygiene requirements.

Of course, gel polish can be used at home, but be patient: it will take not only time, but also knowledge!

How?

You need to do the following:

Scratches on the nail plate. The surface of the nail is rubbed with a soft file. It is important to scrape the entire nail, including the corners, directly next to the cuticle. The nail is rubbed so that the gel polish adheres more tightly and does not flake off at the corners of the nail.

Removing dust from the nail. A special gentle brush removes dust.

Degreasing nails. Use a special liquid to degrease the nail plate. Cotton pads should not be used for this operation, as they can leave invisible dust that can negatively affect the coating of the nails.

Improved adhesion. The tip of the nail is coated with a nail primer that improves nail adhesion with subsequent lubricants.

The basis (base) of the gel polish coating. The nail is covered with one layer of gel polish base, which evens out all the irregularities of the nail plate. After covering the nails with a base, they are inserted under a UV or LED lamp.

Using gel polish. The nail plate is coated with a gel polish of the selected color and then the nails are reinserted into a UV or LED lamp.

Using a top coat of gel polish. Apply top. A UV or LED lamp was used again.

Cuticle nutrition. After the gel polishing procedure, cuticle oil is used to nourish the cuticle.

Gel polish top: how to use it correctly?

In order for the nails to look flawless and the nail design to remain without changing its original appearance for a long time, it is important not only to carefully select and use the bottom layer (base) of gel polish, but also the top of the gel polish. So how to properly apply gel polish so that you can enjoy the results even 3-4 weeks after the procedure?

Manicures. The first step towards perfection is a carefully and correctly performed manicure, which affects both the appearance of the nail and the longevity of the results. Old tools should be removed from the nail, the cuticles should be arranged, the shape should be given and the surface of the nail should be scratched. After the procedure, the nail is cleaned with a brush.

Nail preparation for gel varnishing. Special tools degrease the natural nail plate and apply the tip to the primer.

Bottom layer of gel polish. To improve the adhesion between the natural nail and subsequent tools, apply the bottom layer of gel polish and dry in an LED lamp.

Gel varnish. The selected gel polish color is applied to the nail and dried in an LED lamp. Depending on the choice of gel polish, this step can be repeated until the desired result is obtained.

Top layer of gel polish. The top of the gel is carefully applied with a thin layer on the nail, which, depending on the wishes, can give a matte or glossy layer. The nail is inserted under the LED lamp for drying.

Aqua drops are added to the matte surface of the polymerized top with a brush previously soaked in acetone. And that's it! We have the perfect nail design that is left to cover with a top!

Aqua drops, as already mentioned, are used to create an exclusive nail design that is somewhat reminiscent of a marble surface. It is recommended to use them on a light (preferably white) gel polish or paint with a matt surface.
